Where do we come from? How often do we look back at where we were and marvel at how far we have come and how much we have changed?
Almost without exception I find that the people who are most certain of their world view, of what is and what will be, are children. As we get a little older, and perhaps get disappointed a few times, we become less sure — sometimes perilously uncertain of the world and our place in it.
But if we hang in there, keep learning, keep loving, keep trying to make the world a better place, miracles can happen. Maybe you’ve heard of a little group of teenagers from a poor town in England who formed a skiffle band. Here they are doing a Buddy Holly song.
