Eight Days a Week

Let me just say this about Daylight Saving time: I hate it!

There, I actually feel a little better now.

I was going to say, “Time is like the weather, everybody complains about it, but nobody ever does anything.” Because, seriously, that’s funny, right? But then I realized, there’s no end to the number of people offering advice on how to manage time. Which, okay, maybe they aren’t really changing anything but I’d be hard pressed to remember anything I’ve seen about how to manage the weather. So, there’s that.

And you know what? If there were eight days a week I just know that it would break into six work days and still only two weekend days. And who needs that? You probably think I’m kidding, but I’ve had that kind of crap pulled on me before. Seriously.

Keep your hands off my clock. {smirk}

    It’s funny as I read the title I thought, “Permanent 3 day weekends would be awesome!”, but I’m sure you are right and in an 8 day week it just wouldn’t be true. I think daylight savings time is kicking my butt too :/

    So, I’m one of those weirdos who actually LIKES Daylight Savings. It’s NO NICE to know that winter is officially behind me (for a few months, at least) and that the daylight is getting much longer.

    Actually, what I DON’T like is the summer equinox when the days start to get shorter. I hate it because I know the Minnesota winters aren’t far behind.

    I’m with you on the whole Daylight Savings thing… I’ve never understood why we continue to use it— I can understand that it might have been useful when it was first proposed, but, now it just seems superfluous…..
