The subtitle on this song is I’ll Never Do You No Harm, but the part that always sticks with me is “If you leave me, I’ll never make it alone.”
We sometimes harm the people we love without ever intending to. Still we’re going to promise that we never will. And we’re going to beg them to stay with us through the hurt.
On a lighter note, it reminds me of this: If you can’t live without me, why aren’t you dead yet?
